I teach a little girl who frequently closes her eyes as she goes over a fence - not sure if it's better for the horse or rider to be doing that?!?!

Thank you! It's this Wobbleberry thing, it's doing amazing things for my motivation and helping me overcome my nerves. Been incredible already and only really starting out.

Indeed haha. My instructor was saying the same today, despite the nerves I rode positively at every fence, which is true. The ahem quality of the riding will hopefully come with time and practice!

I think if I closed my eyes, we'd probably do just as well, maybe better!

Well done you - the pics are great! You made it round 70 and 80 and I think that's definitely something to be proud of!

I struggle to jump 50cm at the moment but would love to be able to do what you've just done at some point this year :D
