Just in case everyone hasn't seen them on those threads (I'm sure some of us avoid the Parelli stuff) I wanted to highlight them again.
It's really sad that more people have signed the anti-Parelli petition than this one. These poor wild horses are utterly terrified and imho horribly abused. Please have a look (if you can bear it. I couldn't tbh.)

Completely disgusted by that video. I've signed, I hope many others do too and stop wild horse racing.
 
that was SO REVOLTING...I'm afraid I only managed to get to where the poor horse had a BROKEN leg & still they just dragged it along THE MORONS
 
Absolute sick, inhumane idiots.

Just to warn those who haven't seen it yet, there are a number of wild horses being broken (literally) in as part of the rodeo. One of these poor horses ends up with (at least) two very obviously broken legs and is forced to somehow walk itself out of the arena whilst the show continues.

Please don't watch it if you are easily upset by any sort of injury or cruelty. Mind you I'm not easily upset and that got me teary and very riled.

I'm all signed up on the petition.

RIP to that poor poor horse.
 
i actually feel physically sick after watching that :( how it can be deamed a sport is beyond me!

that poor poor horse - you could see how badly broken it was - it was flapping around that much it looked like it had another joint in its leg!

absolutely disgusting. signed the petition, though i believe it will take much much more than that to get such a "popular" event banned ... sadly.

This is evil, what happens to the horses after they are injured? Are the taken to the slaughter house to then suffer even more pain in a living hell before they finally leave this earth.

Please please look at the video posted by Waterborn on the forum STOP HORSES BEING SLAUGTHTERED FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION IN WA.

Although we all have different opinions as to whether humans should eat horse meat, the way in which they suffer before they finaly die in Canada, Mexico and Australia is evil.

I have signed the petition. We are all only on this planet for a very short while. Why is it necessary to cause such pain to any living creaure.

Please look into the way horses are killed in those countries. The meat
is then exported to Europe and Japan.

Disgusting.

That is a sad reflection on the whole of America. Why has their Government not stopped this barbarism? After all, it's taking place within a government owned and run facility.

If the anti hunt campaigners would like to tackle some real cruelty, they should watch as much of that video as they can stomach.

you don't have to donate, you can just ignore that bit. the signature is what matters.

Apparently this year's running was cancelled (because of public outrage?) so petitions etc might just lead to a permanent banning.

I couldn't agree more kerilli. There are many many severe and totally depraved and unacceptable animal abuses going on every day perpetrated by humans.
I'm afraid I couldn't watch it all as the abuse to the horses and cattle in the first minutes is appalling in my opinion.

Look up Conklin dairy farms abuse on FB for just one other very disturbing example.
