I am doing an oral presentation on the maintenance of riding arenas and surfaces. I need to find out basic annual costs of maintaining a riding arena.
Obviously these include things like levelling the arena daily, rolling it, harrowing (if needed), watering (if needed), poo picking and topping up the surface.
Anyone know what sort of prices these would cost on an annual basis? Any websites that have this sort of information on?
PS. Am I missing anything that needs to be done to correctly maintain an arena?
Thanks in advance :)

Don't know of any websites, but there's the cost of the equipment to maintain the arena - tractor, leveller etc (you can look those up). The cost of watering will depend whether you're on a meter or not. Poo picking should be a minimal cost and done immediately; there might be a cost if an employee does the poo picking but it shouldn't take much of their time. You can google the cost of a surface top up, which will depend on the type of surface. You'll also need to maintain the fencing with 'I can't believe it's not creosote' etc.

The information you need is out there but probably not in one place!
