Please look into my eyes

I do think you need to 'keep it real', making out that theses poor ponies had wonderful lives before Jamie Grey, when I would imagine most of them have always been owned by the jamie grays of this world is wrong. The poor ponies were always going to be meat ponies.

I agree and we must look to ourselves ,buying ,selling ,blaming the horse, horse not good enough for us ,too good ,unsound.
The horse wants security ,food, water.
It is us that want other things and we must realise this and take our responsibility seriously.
We compete and try to assure our horses have a good life but I have been guilty of selling a problem horse on to dealers and I am not proud of it

[ QUOTE ]
i've not heard of meat ponies being microchipped and wearig shoes before

[/ QUOTE ]

i have...took one to potters last october....with the relevent paperwork.....

he'd obviously bought that at a sale......

[ QUOTE ]
but to be microchipped and have shoed on he cannot have 'always been a meat pony' surely - that's just a wasted cost.

[/ QUOTE ]

But why is it a meat pony now?

Have the charities been giving out details on microchips etc? Have they spoken to it's last known owner and found out why it was there?

prittstick...is this the one you mean ?

where,in this wide world,
can man find nobility without pride,
friendship without envy
or beauty without vanity?

here, where grace is laced with muscle,
and strength by gentleness confined.
he serves without sivility
he has fought without enmity

there is nothing so powerful,
nothing less violent.
there is nothing so quick,
nothing more patient.

englands past has been borne on his back
all our history is his industry
we are his heirs
he our inheritance
