Quick history. Josie did her suspensory 5 months ago. It was a bad injry, vet didn't hold out much hope.
She was operated on 4 months ago. She's been sound from day 1.
Started ridden walk work 5 weeks go. Going really well. Started trot work this week. So far so good.
Here's my problem. Turnout. She's in a little electric fenced off paddock, so she cant run. She was fine for a bit, but has gradually been getting worse. More bucking and stupidity.
She wants to be with the others, thats all, and eat grass, that she's not got.
I called vet and he said he'd want her up to ridden canter work to be put put out. I know he has this issue with her being a scatty arab, but she's really not, she's just a foody that likes her friends.
I say ok, and keep her in the little paddock.
Well she's just thrown a fit and jumped out of the paddock, wrapping all the fencing round her legs cutting herself. She flew off to the others and stopped at the fence when she got there.
Now what do I do? What would you do?
I cant risk her in that paddock anymore, she knows she can get out now.
I give her loads of hay, so it's not like she's starving. She just wants her friends.
Do I just drug her up and put her out? She's never been a runner. But I know there's always that risk. Or do I put her back in her stable til she's ok'd by vet to go out? But then the grass wont be as good, and she'll have been on box rest and we'll risk the 'explosion' again.
Please please, what would you do?

ETS she has a friend with her all the time, Josie's in a cornr of an areana sized paddock, and hermate Ellie is in the whole of it. So she's never far away. Just soen't seem to be enough now.
