please keep any spare fingers crossed for Flash today, we have another vet coming out for a second opinion at 5pm, he really deteriorated over the weekend, and after speaking to her at the weekend he was put immediately on box rest until she could see him, rather than riding him as normal as the other vet told me to, which tbh I hadn't done as riding a slightly lame horse doesn't seem right to me. I'm so worried about him, the word 'fracture' came up and that sends a chill down my spine having already lost one 5yr old with a broken leg

Poor Flash has been lame for over 3 weeks now

There's no heat or swelling and I'm completely at a loss, although looking at him yesterday wonbdered whether its higher up, in his shoulder

so anyway, please send get well vibes to my baby, I'm in a right state about it!

Loads of good vibes heading your way......Good Luck with the vet.

(and if it's even a small consolation my horse has survived 2 fractures in his life and actually carried on eventing after both of them) xx

Thank you, and I do hope it's going to be nothing major, but after over 3 weeks and things getting worse rather than better, it really does make me worry
