I lost both my oldies last year and it was horrible, so here are some pics to cheer you up..
Flick asleep:
My beautiful Islay:
Slightly less graceful
Flick when she was waiting to be re-homed:
The terrible twosome sunbathing (in the good old days, when we HAD some sun....)
And yes, Flick does it too
She loves playing with her ball-on-a-rope
Whereas this is Islay's preferred activity (other than chasing cats...)
Who could resist that little face? Well, I couldnt
My gorgeous gorgeous Talisker (not strictly a greyhound!) who I lost last December
And beautiful Jura, who was PTS last April
Macallan, also not strictly a greyhound of course
who had to be re-homed when my idiot ex-husband left
Living happily somewhere in Herefordshire now
And little Ellen, our tripod greyhound, just after loosing her leg - also rehomed due to idiot ex-husband but living very happily in Wells, Somerset now
My special boy, just after we had given him a home - I had him for six years, which was just not long enough, I miss him so much still
Hope you like the photos, sorry I went a bit mad with them
PandD - So sorry to hear about losing your boy (((hugs)) sorry no pics to share as i don't have any, only mad spaniels and labs!! xx
Splotchy - i love seeing your pics. I have to be honest i never really thought much about greyhounds (being a spangle girl) and without sounding nasty of course ... but now i seem to have rather a liking for them
After Rocky's days are up (OH's rottie) my next 'house' dog will be a greyhound! And it's all because of you!!
I have come across a few in my time and they always seem like such kind soulful dogs ... so much to give. They are very graceful ... the total opposite from the brash careless spangle!!!
