*Please read* What would you do in this situation?

If I was the new owner I would appreciate getting a call, as I could then assess the problem with someone experienced in these issues. As a parent, I'd be grateful that someone was considering my daughters safety.
 
Thanks all, I think I will go with my gut instinct and get in contact with her. I will take your advice though and just see how they are getting on, but I have seen they have been eliminated xc at their only two events so I suspect he is up to his old tricks again. :( So sad this has happened to him as he was always a very tricky horse but deserves to be enjoying his later life doing dressage or show jumping which is what i sold on him on to do. :(
