I have a 33 year old pony, he has cushings, under control with prascend, he is NOT laminitic and never has been so I am not too worried about what he gets at his age he is allowed to be a little choosy in what he likes to eat
He will only pick at hay/ haylage overnight and I would like to leave him with a big tub of chop to see if he will eat a little more, he is a bit under weight, very well and full of energy, or as much as you would expect at his age.
Current diet, all the "wrong" things but he will not eat what he should, Baileys no 4 conditioning cubes, calm and condition, linseed, 3 meals a day, out all day on a reasonable amount of grass. Fast Fibre is not eaten, he does not eat sloppy feeds in any quantity, so speedibeet is no use , nuts are his preferred feed, his teeth are good.
So recommendations for either a chop or a high fibre cube he can have in largish quantities, thank you for any suggestions.
