After selling both sets I had as Im not a fan of them, I now need to buy some :( My young horse has a suspected ligament/tendon issue, vets scanning tomorrow :(
I dont want to spend a fortune if possible and am looking at Le Mieux, Premier Equine, Shires and Woof Wear. After 3 weeks box rest Im praying she can go out in a small area but would like the boots for support, so breathable would be better.

Thanks :)

There isn't much in the way of creditable research to suggest the are effective. What do your vets say?

I wouldn't have them on for a long duration. Not sure how long you would be turning out for.

Professional Choice have various specs of sports boots but they are pretty much the elite of sports boots. They are used a lot in western riding and the majority choose Pro Choice. These are cheap but I wouldn't imagine that the cheap versions would offer the same level of breathability.

Again there is limited evidence that they "support" anything and as a fully enclosed boot that goes over a joint the leg can get warm/hot.

Thank you both for your replies. Im jumping the gun a bit, thinking I need to support her leg if she gets the go ahead for limited turnout as we are starting to struggle with the box rest. Ive not spoken to the vet yet about boots etc, her scan is tomorrow, sorry so I will ask then.
I sold my Pro choice elite boots about 3 weeks ago!! Typical lol
I will sit on my hands and wait to see what tomorrow brings
