After reading a thread on here last night re 13 year old girl sharing...the less I say about that the better it did remind me of my youth and how desperate I was to have my own horse. The hours spent mucking out etc so I could have half an hour on a riding school pony at the end of the day when it was probably knackered! It also reminded me how b****y lucky my kids are to have 3 to enjoy...at home, no bike ride in horizontal rain for them!
The photos are of our little pony Roger who is rising 4, enjoying himself in the school...he loves loose schooling and playing about with my daughter. He was a pity buy, 2 year old ungelded with no known breeding about to go to the sales. He wont be big enough for my daughter to ride but she is enjoying bringing him on and he certainly wont be leaving us, he was pretty much wild when we got him and very nervous with a tendency to turn his bum whenever things werent going his way...a quick crack with a leadrope soon cured that problem!
What do you all think of him...would love to know what sort of breeding he might be and if we were to show him in hand how he would do, I know nothing about showing but it would be nice to give him and daughter something to do
