Crikey what a stressful day for you.
I'm so glad things are looking better for your lovely mare. X

This seems promising, hopefully the treatment will get everything out her system and she'll be able to eat soon! Love to her, you and your amazing yard staff!Thank you all for your kind messages, the person of the yard has messaged me to say she seems happy and has sent a photograph of her with pricked ears looking out of her stable, probably wondering where her food is!
What dose of pysyllium do you give to Dave please?Dave had sand colic last year. He was sedated & tubed with Epsom Salts. This seemed to do the trick & he did some rather explosive poos, but the next day he went downhill again, very poorly pony. Vet came & tubed again, but still not picking up or even remotely interested in food.
He ended up in the vets' for 4 nights being tubed with Psyllium & Epsom salts, along with IV fluids. He made a dramatic improvement even over the first night.
I hope your pony is feeling better soon, it was a horrible thing for Dave.
He now has 1 week of Psyllium every month to keep on top of it.
He has a 40g scoop of pelleted psyllium & bentonite every day for the first 7 days of each month. The packet says twice a day, but I struggle to get him to eat it twice a day. What dose of pysyllium do you give to Dave please?
OP i hope things are looking good for your mare, yard sound very good.
