He goes for his first cruciate ligament op tomorrow. It's a biggie and he has to stay overnight. He finds vets very stressful and I am dreading leaving him. They have said I can stay with whilst he has his pre med so it's less strressful for him but I still am not a happy bunny.

Good luck. Has he torn the cruciate ligament?

Yep he has a problem with his knees on both hind legs and has ruptured both hind cruciate ligaments. They only do one at a time and the worst is his left so that's what they are doing tomorrow. Then we have to go through it all again in October with the other one!!!

Sending loads of good luck vibes to Dexter. Buffy has had to spend a lot of time at the vets recently, and I have hated leaving her each time but I know she is in the best place. Dexter will probably be groggy for most of the time he is there so probably will just want to sleep so try not to worry about him too much. Easier said than done I know and I never take my own advice.
