For poor Grumpy dumblood - he's been having the most horrendous gas colic known to man!
Now, 38 hours later, he is on his way to recovery - lying down in his battered stable and farting for England, which is good news, but the last 2 days weren't fun.
It didn't help that he is not the easiest horse to treat (his nickname has a reason) and I'm pretty much the only person in the world that can do anything to him... So, to all those who might have seen a mad woman hanging onto a chiffneyed grey horse, galloping around the fen, trying to administer swiftly a shot of Finadine/Buscopan - I hope you've enjoyed the view, I certainly didn't enjoy the experience, but can see the funny side:)

So, here is to (raises a glass of red) a swift recovery and hope that I can eventually, one day... get some blinking sleep!

poor grumpy dumblood and poor martlin get some shut eye now that you can rest in the knowledge that he is sleeping soundly under his own green cloud!

unfortunately I have to stay up another 2 hrs or so to feed my cade lambs, so I'm thinking another glass of red is in order - feel free to join me:)

ooh lovely, it'll have to be a virtual glass though as still at work myself, shall be immersing myself in it when i get home tomorrow evening about 10 pm would much rather be feeding lambs than waiting for children to wake up to puke or any of the lovely things i usually get at work on a sleep in!
