Has made their horse their substitute child?!?!?!?!?

Diva has had her back done and is quite sore, so I have stolen my dad's hand held massage unit from America, dug out my old leather pad to bang her with, as well as buying several books on horse's backs.

I have spent £60 on a physio, and spent several hours a day massaging, stretching, banging and reading all about back and how to improve them!

I suppose Charlie is. My parents refer to him as their grandchild as they know that he is the closest they are ever going to come to 1!

You're not alone. Gin is my child

She is spoilt rotten. When I tuck her up in bed on an evening she has a kiss goodnight and gets told that mummy loves her.

How sad am I?

I think maybe are a teensy weensy bit over-protective of Diva....

But thats what theyre there for!! I used to dote over Boss. Moon isnt quite there yet, she occaisionally takes our relationship down a peg or two with her behaviour!!

Saf is defo my child, she can do no wrong and never a bad word said about her

My dad is grandad and dotes on her, I did tell him as I was never going to have children he should treat Saf as his grandchild and he seems to have taken it on board

yup, that is how I got my boy..... I said to my hubby lets have a child or let me have another horse......the horse won no probs!!!!!!!!!! Although family moan (they live up North) I do not see them often and they cannot really understand I do not want to leave my "baby" for longer than I have to.

Rosie is definately my precious little girl.

Got the slightest bit broody a few years back when all my friends were preggars, so went out and bought 2 foals - sorted!

I think you lot are potential mothers in denial! If you treat your animals like that then imagine how you would be with your own baba! I was the most non maternal person ever, completely different with your own, and very sad and lonely in your old age without!

My girls are definitely by babies! They are sooo pampered and spoiled its untrue!

It's like astick with a revolving unit which rotates and vibrates, as well kneads depending on the speed!

Thanks for giving them to her.

mickey is my big child, the lady i brought him of said he would love being a pet , although he works quite hard he is like a spoilt child, his pampered wants for nothing and makes my partner hugely jealous as he gets more love and affection ( he seems to know it as well as when his getting affection and my partners there he has a look in his eye as if to say 'jealous are you??' ) his got a human massager as well although doesnt like the noise , makes me get my hands dirty with a good old rub and scratch instead . i dont think there is anything wrong with child replacemen horse as long as you know when to put your foot down with them ( just like when children cross the line! )

no your not alone i'm the same, as are loads of my friends too!

i have my pony child and my puppy child. they are my babies!!

Even if they are naughty or going badly doesnt make me love them any less (even when pony is buggering off or climbing on top of things she shouldnt be!!)
