Haz had some quite impressive fluffy plums and next day ripped the lead out of my hand and took off after a rabbit for miles leaving me with severe rope burns. He never had a days problem and healed quickly! That's how sorry the little so and so felt for himself!!!!!!!

[/ QUOTE ]Ahhh thats good to hear - am supposed to keep him quiet for 10 days apparently!!!!

Come on phoen RING!!!! tell me he's OK!!

Poor Finny such a good boy

There you are then, hope he isn't too sore.

Thankyou for the photos btw, honestly, I really love your dog, it has been great seeing him grow up over the past year. I keep on showing his photos to my husband, hint, hint, he says "NO, it's the size of a small horse and we've got too many of them already!" Hmph.

He expects to find a new dog here one day anyway, someone pulled into the drive the other day pulling a trailer, the first thing hubby did was groan and say "WHAT have you BOUGHT?" Me? Nothing, they only wanted directions!

I was supposed to keep Haz quiet for 10 days....he had other ideas lol!!!! Soooooo happy the little puppy wuppy ( all 16 hh! of him!) is coming home de-plummed but ok!

[/ QUOTE ]LOL - you have to tell you OH the size is not noticeable when they grow up with you... Finn to me is still a small dog... yes honestly.... I don't ever see him as a big chap!!

It was nice in the vets there was 6 people in there.. the second he came through the door there was a coo of "Ohh what a beautiful dog"

LOL - I think he'll have other ideas too...

The funniest thing - they haven't got a buster collar big enough to fit him (to stop the licking) so have had to order him one!! I collect it tomorrow.

Glad he is ok. Hope he's feeling back to his old self very soon - well minus the plums of course

shame there won't be any Finlets running around.... he's such a good looking boy. get well soon licks from Matty.

[/ QUOTE ]Thanks hun.. he is gorgeous.. butthe risk of any pups having the 'cherry eye' problem was not worth taking... plus he was always intended as a pet never a stud dog.

Thanks Matty - hows she doing?

My boy, also called Finn, had his off a couple of years ago, of course they shave them pre-op... and the hair has never gronw back! Luckily, he is fine coated anyway (Whippet) but the end half of his willy is hairy, and the rest permanently bald!

Matty is doing Ok. Appetite back to normal and she has her waggy tail back!! Has to go for an ultra sound last week of December so keeping everything crossed.
