pledge to your horse?

Im just curious as we use furniture polish on the horses tails at work instead of the tail products with a horse banged on the label and costs so many times more.
Does anybody else do this?It works well just as good as usual tail products and costs next to nothing and lasts ages.

I know of a girl thats uses it, she also puts it on the horses coat

I use furniture polish as well and we just use the supermarkets own brand of shampoo and contitioner when we wash the horses

i wouldnt put it on the coat as of the wax in it but each to there own i have always bought supermarket stuff in the way of shampoo oils and garlic but it never occured to me to get furniture polish for the tails and its great.

I always buy the cheap shampoos and things from the supermarket work just aswell as the well known brands!

Oh I buy the cheaper brands too ~ the last expensive one I bought, I only managed to get a capful into the bucket, before BB, kicked the bottle over, and trod on it

£15 quid ~ but lovely smelling, shiny yard!!!

i use some lenor 2 wash my tails and they smell loverly , keeps flys off to.

never knew about furniture polish for tails !!! is it to do the same as the detaingler stuff ??

It has alcohol in it WTF, leave the tail be only work on it before a show you risk a skin reaction using FP it's for timber not hair

Surely if its been used on the animal before with no effects it does not risk a skin reaction.
