Today the girls who ride Beau were up at the stables having a potter about. Seems they were jumping and I casually asked how high?
"Oh, not big, just around 1 metre, but he has a big jump so sure he is capable of more"

Thats big to my wooseness, and am now kinda curious as to how big he could go!

I think 3 weeks without XC training and he is dying to jump as usually he has very little respect for showjumps.

So plesantly surprised that it seems he still has potential (hes 10 so not over the hill just yet!), and scared as I know i'm going to get badgered into trying to get to 1m+

I am such a woose..............I think I may need to develop a taste for Gin!

Oh this is easy to deal with. You just get the girls to continue jumping him and then you tell everyone, "my horse is jumping 1.30m at the moment" in a real cool voice.

HEHE, Well I do think I am more cut out for the owner/groom side of horses.

I LOVE watching the girls ride and seeing how well he goes! One of them had him going brilliantly, like a proper dressage horse, and that was in his new snaffle.

I did forget to tell them that he has a different bit for jumping, so there were also like, um he is a bit strong though. OOPS.
