Both online and places with really great selection if you go there... (e.g. Olney saddlery used to be amazing before it was sold, had a fabulous selection.) Thankyou!

K, I am always one for a bargain, atm Hope Valley Saddlery are good, have a fantastic range of what I like. Equestrian Clearance is on my list as they have some very good Ariat buys. Eland Lodge has a lovely shop, but I only purchase if reduced
Pre equestrain on ebay is worth looking at, and my first point of call at Burghley is Homestead (sp) saddlery, but didnt find anything i liked in there last year

Equestrian Clearance is always a good buy if you can find what you want ... Ingatestone saddlery is always good and they offer online service too.

I can recommend Throstle Nest Saddlery , at Silkstone common , near Barnsley. They have lovely stuff, often that no one else has.....excellent range of event products, 'coz they event themselves, but not cheap at all! Prepare to hammer your credit cards, though they do have a brill sale twice a year

Also like Hope Valley Saddlery - got some lovely Ariat sport breeches (realy thin) for £20 from there.
Throstlenest Saddlery is very good for competitive prices and always has the "lastest" gear in and a good range. They have a website, might be worth looking at, but there's alot more stock in their shop.

I liked Throstlenest when I went there. I also liked the new one in Melton Mowbray - R&R Country, which I think is a second shop to their original one in Yorkshire.
Equestrian Clearance is always good for a look too.

I like Derby House at Wrightington - I would only buy online if I had already tried the make I was buying as the sizes between manufacturer seem to vary so much.
Only thing I would say about DH is that they seem to have more of the expensive stuff, not much mid range to budget.
Also, I wouldn't go out of my way to go there, I live local to it.

I recently went to a Robinson's store with a friend and was very surprised to be able to buy my Kentucky & Kingsland breeches, a Gersemi top and some Ariat stuff. I always thought that Robinson's was the Primark of the equestrian world and almost wish that I hadn't discovered otherwise as I am now broke!

Depends how far you want to treck, but if your up North then Ride-Away has a good selection of competition wear for the rider, lots of boots/foot ware if you have footware fetish but I do find the shop rather depressing to walk round, seems so gloomy, doesn't really get you into the shopping spirit.
R&R on the other hand does, everything is set out nicely, you could easily spend a fortune but although they have plenty of choice, the choice isn't too large so you tend to buy more rather than be over faced with too much but the makes tend to be average and for the average pocket shall we say.
Oberon Equestrian on line has some 'nice' things, I think it's just an online company but it's has a pretty simple website that is easy to get around and just offers quality products so you can cut the chase if you know exactly what you want if your looking for something little more than the average make.

well i am probably the worst person to be answering this considering that i am a tramp (today have been for a lesson- yes a lesson matchy matchy lovers- wearing a $5 grey hoody i got 6 years ago in New York and some breeches that i had to sew back together as i split the crotch in them 
).... however, i do quite like robinsons- but the shop, not the mail order, that is rubbish and full of their own brand rubbish. used to really like derby house but not so much anymore- either very very pricey or their own crap.... would probably say hope valley saddlery is my fave, although i do tend to pick most of my stuff up at events on tradestands....

I really like Hope Valley Saddlery as well, I bought some really nice pikeur breeches at Badminton at a very good price, I always look for their stalls at big events.
I use www.horsepoosaddlery.co.uk for every day items. They are local to me and give a very personalied service which I like. Sometimes its nice not to use the big suppliers like Derby house!

These first two for me too but find Rideaway very good for nono-dressage specific brands - their service is excellent. Have to say that I do buy a heck of a lot on ebay these days though!
