I've just got in and my horses have broken into the orchard!

God only knows how many apples they have eaten (eating apples not cooking) but they were also munching away on my Victoria plums!!

How bad is this? not sure if it's ok or not, but presume not!

Any advice??

they should be fine but keep an eye on them... My big horse came infrom the field one day with a blue set of teeth and gums after giving me complete heart attack turned out he had been eating plums and blackberries from the hedgerow....

Jack has a Greengage tree in his field and a Plum tree that is layden with plums falling over into his field, and a Pear tree, so he has plenty of choice, we dont worry too much about him eating them, we find the stones in his droppings when we are poo picking.
