The leaking water pipe that was spraying across the entrance to the jumping lane didn't help...

The futurity have taken the jump lane distances from the KWPN. The distance from wall to first fence may need some tweaking as the KWPN tend to free jump their horses loose, in a cage and on a curved line as opposed to in hand off a square turn (ie the horses are approaching the fence in a more forward manner).
The lane is better than it was as the distances between the fences are now true but I think that if the horses are being presented in hand then they may need a little more room from corner to first fence in order to be straight and have enough impulsion for the test.
And if there is more room from the corner, maybe a place pole in front of the first fence?
