...cos a customer is listening!
A few weeks ago I was looking for some advice and some sympathy re a West Highland White Terrorist that I groom. The quick gist of the story was that the dog is overweight, grumpy (seriously grumpy), terrible skin, a huge ugly stud tail etc etc - and nasty ears. The stuff of dreams (nightmares).
Anyway, so the lady has brought the dog to her vet to be treated for his ear problem. Vet thinks the stud tail is just too much testosterone (?!) but I've never seen such swollen glands on the tail like this. However, the lady has done what I asked.
Today I spoke to her about changing his diet from pedigree chum to an holistic one - she went away with a bag of the stuff that I carry.
And what made me happiest - the dog's attitude was soooo much better. I have him coming in every month for a bath/brushout for some behavior work and to keep on top of his coat - but he was quite a happy chappy marching up to the bath - didn't try to eat me while I was washing his face. I handled his sore ears without complaints.
Yay -- and it's another day I got to keep my fingers! (rejoice ya'll cos it means that I can torment this forum with more of my drivel! hurrah!).
