Does anyone know the poem written from the dogs point of view along the lines of grieving for the loss but not leaving their basket empty for too long and loving another?
My dad just lost his old girl to cancer, she was his whole world. I know he needs to grieve but I worry about him being alone now as he can get depressed, plus he can offer an unwanted dog a home full of love which is a shame to waste when there is a dog out there that needs him as much as he needs them.
