point 2 jackets article

has anyone seen the DM article on point 2 air jackets? what did you think of it?

isn't a point2 supposed to be worn with a normal body protector underneath it?
and a woman putting it under her normal clothes? bad idea?

To be BE legal the Point2 has to be worn with an approved body protector. I have to say that I wear mine hacking when I would not be wearing a normal body protector. As for wearing it under normal clothes, well it shouldn't matter provided the clothing you are wearing is baggy or stretchy enough to accommodate the inflation should the air bag go off.

My take on it is that each individual should do their own research and make up their own minds on the cost benefit analysis for them.
