Had a great day...
The weather was awful started to rain as we arrived and the ground just got worse and worse. We ran R is the open and he was carrying an extra 7 lb. He jumped well and the jockey got him very well settled and happy (our aim after his bad run last time) he looked happy but we knew the ground wouldn't suit him. He pulled him up along the last straight. There were 27 original entries about 10 ran and 3 finshed

so pleased with him and he came home and ate up so hopefully the ground will be better for easter monday.
Also saw Zara Phillips there with a very nice horse

Shame about the ground and a pity he didn't finish but it's no use pushing it when the going doesn't suit - he had some red hot opposition too didn't he. Better luck next time. Rosie pulled up today too one out but I think they were quite pleased with him (was his first run ever).
