I am preparing a presentation and demo of the Point Two jackets and I would really like to hear comments, both good and bad about them. I work at a large tack store in the US and my gut feeling that anything that will help reduce the level of injury in falls is a good thing, fully appreciating that riding and jumping horses is a dangerous sport.
I'd also like some input on adapting them for the whip in carriage driving - thought: weld a ring on the front of the box to which to attach the lanyard. They would not do for multiple backsteppers, though they might work for one 'gator for a single or a pair.

Do a search of the forum under Point 2, there have been a lot of long threads on the subject. Also ask this question in the Competition section.

You might want to stand well back though, as opinions are strongly divided.

These are really very very good. Expensive but they do make a difference in a fall. (As long as youdon't wear them under your jacket as some advertising photos had them!) My only constructive comment would be - when are they going to make children's sizes?!

our neighbours wear them to drive in & all of them wear them (driver & both backsteps) they have theirs attached to the drivers seat frame by large carrabeinas that allow for movement & it seems to work well.
was quite odd to watch the first time one set them off (think she forgot she was connected & just hopped off the back)
