slightly annoying, pointless rant. Just need to get it off my chest that's all. TBH I have other, more important things to worry about!
I've just been up to the yard to find my showing bridle, and expensive jefferies rope (at least £150 pounds worth of kit, which was all imaculate as I only ever use it for shows) muddy, scratched and has obviously been hung up on a gate post in the rain, as the leather is all tacky, and my special and expensive rope looks like its been chewed and trodden on
My horse is on livery, and I haven't been up since Thursday as I was working away. He has a chifney hanging outside his stable, for use if the girls find him too fresh to lead up in a headcollar (he is 17.2 and the girls who turn out the horses are very small)
Anyway, my showing bridle and special rope were taken out of the locked tackroom, and I've just found them hanging outside his stable in an awful state
I'm very cross atm, but don't want to cause an awkward scene. I think I'll just take it home, and not bother mentioning it.
