Rode for the first time (1hr group lesson) in about 5 weeks today (I've had pneumonia and then the snow prevented access to the yard!!). YO said that H hadn't had any work at all for 2 weeks, so I was a little nervous! But he was an absolute star! He wanted to bomb around, I could tell - but he just did exactly what I asked him and was so good x
There were 9 of us in the lesson (which was good as it gave me a chance to catch my breath between turns; still not got a lot of puff!) and she said they were all 'mental' when coming in this morning. So very pleased that they were all so good
Then there was a bit of an 'incident' - my friend's horse, who was immediately in front of us, tripped over a pole and went right down (I thought he had landed on my friend at first). Fortunately, both horse and rider seem none the worse - but H just stood stock still and waited for them to sort themselves out! What a star
Pointless (and a bit long!), I know - but I came away feeling a million dollars
