So this week is going well (famous last words).

Found out on Tuesday that I am moving yards to one with much better hacking in a months time, then last night my loony boy (he's 6) jumped 2 more of the XC jumps at my current yard (he's done 4 others so far) and this time he did not run out or mess around and just jumped them! He did a little bit of jumping last summer and 3 times on the school this year but that is it, he has never done XC jumps before a month ago and is the biggest scardy cat going lol. One very proud mum :-)
 
Not pointless at all, I love to see Happy Posts on here, Well done the pair of you, hard work does pay off lets hope it continues. Good luck with the move sure it will be fine. Let us know how it all goes.
 
I must admit that the jumps he has done are the smallest on the course. I only do 2 each time we are out as I am building him up slowly as he gets very excited and the last thing I want to do is knock his confidence.

He has had a lot of change in the last 6 months. He spent 5 year of his life on a field with one other mare but in November I had to move him into full livery and away from his friend. I feel bad in some ways moving him again but I miss the hacking we used to do and I know he does as well. there is hardly any hacking were we are now but loads were we are going.
 
We all have to start somewhere so do not worry about that, I am sure that it will be fine, I wish I could move my girls to somewhere else where the hacking is better as really not very good where we are, You obviously have his best interest at heart it will all work out for the best .
