Pointless post but had to say......

I jumped Super today for the first time in 15 months! She was strong and was pulling me into the fences but she seemed to enjoy herself (a bit too much!)

I'll take her to a few small shows and get her going again - all excited now!

I'll try and get some photos

I would have started earlier but my saddle was stolen before Christmas. I only got a new saddle this week! Today was a good test for the saddle fitting because she wouldn't have jumped if it wasn't right!

It must be catching! I jumped mine this week for the first time in a few years!!! I was crap and she tanked and bucked but we will get there. At least it was more fun than trogging round in circles and for once she didnt need any leg to get her moving!

We will have to start a new clique! The "Just started jumping again after a long lay off" clique!!!

I agree and then we can start the 'can't move as every muscle in my body is stiff from not jumping in a while!' clique

Bet you wish you went to the gym more often!!!!

The muscle stiffness wears off after a few days! I jumped on Thursday and I am now out of bed and hobbling around!!!

Before Super had her foal I rode her nearly everyday and even up to when she was 8 months in foal. Now she's back in **cough** "work" I'd forgotten about how sore you can feel after riding - especially jumping! Right looks like I'll be doing a good impression of Aunt Sally for the next few days
