So nothing knew there!

BUT,

Otto just did a huge long retrieve, from water, with a dummy!! (I was so excited I couldn't take a picture!)

AND,

Went to get stuck into my Dad's dog after he retrieved it and stopped before even starting 'cos I told him to

Yay! I get the feeling it will be a while before I do a pointless post,

Oh, he is still being a thug, staying close has gone out the window and he refuses to stop when he flushes something, but little steps

He is also steady to dummies being thrown, will mark two retrieves and fetch both one after the other and will wait whilst I throw a dummy and then go and get it myself

None of which is any use if I can't get him to stay close! Although he can always go picking up if nothing else!

What it really is, is the fact he knows labs are best and they like to retrieve so he is trying to be one

No no no, he knows Spangles are faaaaar superior and is just proving they can both hunt and retrieve, rendering Labs obsolete
