Suffering with laryngitis (caused by the extreme air temperature change of a gale-force frosty office to tropical outdoor temperatures) so have been off work today (and tomorrow!) and thought it would be jolly nice to go out with the neds first thing before it got too warm. So long as air temperature remains ambient and consistent, I don't sound too bad!
My now 5yr old Thoroughbred is now on full loan to a very good friend who'd had him on share since March as my 3yr old youngster has turned out to be much demanding than I had first anticipated! Obviously we stable at same yard so ride together and it's so nice to get out!
So the little 'un arrived at 15hh in November and is about 15.2hh at the minute and noticed she's bum high today. I'm praying for about 16.1hh as they'll both be the same height then and won't have a little and large! I've had him a while - 3yrs - and he arrived at 15hh and is 16.1hh so I have high hopes she'll grow like a weed!
It's felt like hardwork and the summer is the reward as Gin got kicked in the stifle and was on box rest for a while, then she got mud rash so badly she ended up with cellulitis from the tiniest of grazes on her hind leg and it just felt like a nightmare all winter! So hurrah for getting time to enjoy them
At our old yard - really the only decent one I have of her:

Him, pretending to be scared of the goats:

Madam crib-bites, hence the collar!

Harry has an aversion to water and today walzted straight through two streaks without batting an eye! Convinced he didn't actually see them
