Just as my poor mare is (apparently) recovering from chewing (not even eating!) some bittersweet (hidden under nettles); I walked the field boundary today prior to turning out in the field for the first time in a few years and find the hedge riddled with deadly wild privet!! So now I don't know what to do as there is far too much to destroy. I will either have to electric fence it and have sleepless nights in case they get through or permanent -fence it; but what happens when the hedge grows through? Moving fields is possible but difficult. Anyone had this problem? Also a warning that there are far more lethal plants out there then just the obvious ragwort ,bracken and yew that we all know about, it's well worth checking the listings to be sure you are aware of them all, I certainly wasn't
