Sort of trying to cheer myself up so be nice please.

We went to a pole clinic last weekend. Faran was a twonk and very full of himself. I’m going to have to put something a little stronger in him to lighten him in canter as at the moment he’s too heavy infront when either trying to carry himself or when he’s wanting to tow me round in canter out of pure exuberance but that’s for another think im just saying this to as in some of the vids you can see he’s on one and enjoying himself 😅

Some vids, some have music as I was messing about to try to distract my head

Afterwards he was soo sweaty so he got a nice hot water bath as he’s getting clipped once my new clippers come 🙃 treated us to some nice new cordless ones as he doesn’t like my heavy duty corded ones.

Very Thankful that we are both still here 🩵

Look at his face though!! He is gorgeous!❤️

If it helps, Bo is pretty much the same at polework clinics. He gets so excited that the first half of the lesson is spent trying to get him to calm down and concentrate.
The second half of the lesson he's usually too knackered to get any decent work out of him, so I reckon you're ahead of us there! 😊

Well sat lol, baggins gets v excited by lessons, the more we do the more he calms, when I used to do jumping lessons weekly he was chilled about it.

Like yours if he prats about in first half of lesson we are both shattered by second half lol.

What settles him and makes him listen is lots of changes of rein, small ish circles, figures of 8 etc ...going round outside is sometimes just too much of an excuse for speed and pratting around.
