Police dogs

Hi all, is anyone currently working with or knows how the police train their young dogs?

A family friend is a bit unsure after visiting a friend whos husband has been accepted into the caine unit and he seems overly agressive with his 6 mth old shepard. It upset her as she had had dogs her entire life and can't belive, as he says, working dogs are trained.

Can anyone pm me and i can explain the behavour from the handler more?

Yea, not his operational dog, she goes to work with etc but its the basic obedience that you teach just seems agressive. Will pm you.
