I was amazed on Sunday morning on my way to Bath and West at 5am to be stopped by the police as they were suspicious of a horse travelling at that time in the morning. Obviously everything checked out so we carried on our way, but policeman said that there had been a number of horse thefts in the area lately and they were being very careful. Very scary, wondered what we'd done to get pulled over, but great that they are taking an interest and actively checking things out.
