I can remember watching a display by mounted police, not Canadian, where the riders removed their saddles whilst performing. Can anyone help me find a video of this.

Watched that many times at the Met. Police horse show at Imber Court when I was young. Always impressive. We used to go every year until I moved away to uni. in the 1970s
They also had a Sword, Lance and Revolver competition between the mounted branches at that show along with inter-services show jumping.

The Mounted Branch at Imber Court
Police Horses have been at Imber Court for over 100 years. They are trained for the Metropolitan Police Service and horses will also have rest from duty here.
