Police payout after horse seizure

And I find it almost unbelieveable that the horse belongs to - you guessed it - pikeys.............. Words finally fail me.

who says that both partys involed are pikeys.. just because a gypsy cob is involved .. members here have coloured cobs does that make them PIKEYS...

I might be wrong, but the owner would be the first pikey I have ever heard of owning a horse worth over £100,000. I doubt he is, as you say, a pikey.

Billy Brown would not accept any responsibility for >£500 vet bill for injuries to friends 2 geldings and v serious injuries to mare by not mad but mismanaged stallion. He verbally threatened and tried to intimidate. It worked too, who wants a war with a pickey for £500?
Also know of 2 other attacks to horses by stallion.
He has reputation in area for being a criminal bully- sons are going the same way it seems- can understand police frustration, its a shame they cocked up so badly.

Crackersfriend, eh? Yes, it's Pikeys all right. Pikey as they get and of the worst type.

What makes me really laugh are the 'Horsewatch' signs every ten yards along a bare, muddy, ragwort-infested field full of ropey coloureds and their latest crop of foals. These being the ones I asked the_watcher to investigate in case any of the missing horses elsewhere were here......

For KBSaff info:Understand police suspected sale of stallion for high price part of money laundering operation but may be wrong. Horse was taken by police to ILPH Blackpool, but as they were concerned they might receive an unfriendly visit from owner/carer, rapidly moved to Norfolk ILPH where it must have been illtreated!!!! Was allegedly scabby and lousy when seized. EVERYONE I have spoken to, even a friend of his, are wary of him. ILPH have to take police escort with them on their regular visits to ask him to relocate horses to more suitable grazing.
