I have tried googling but not much information around and my polish isn't up to scratch!!
Any info of breeds, breeders, bloodlines etc would be most helpful!!

I have a Polish Warmblood and I have been trying for over a year to find out about lines and breeding but keep drawing blanks

Accy - I think due to WW2, Poland lost a lot of their horses, more so than the rest of Europe (don't quote me on that!). I know from my Arabs' histories many of the studs lost most of their stock so would imagine this would be the same for warmbloods. At a guess, i would say this will make finding out about bloodlines more difficult than most other breeds.

Good Luck in your search!

Polish warmbloods are Wielkolpolski(?) A breed created in the 1960's by breeding native horses with Anglo Arabs and thoroughbreds. I think that they are mainly solid colours. There is a national stud and foals bred there supposedly have a brand mark to tell you which stud they were bred at. Ours has the name of his breeder on his passport, but no freeze mark.
