wonder if anyone can help . I bought my lad with a polish passport ( he had only been in the country 3 weeks) , the dealer could offer no advice on how to change the details , so i phoned the passport agency who sent me to defra who sent me to the passpiort agency . they both said that on no account should send the passport to poland and that i couldnt just get a new one . I cant believe I'm the only person with a polish horse , so does anyone have any experience with this problem

Hi, Polish is my native language so if you need anything translated or if I can help in any way feel free to PM me. Unfortunately not sure how to go about your problem without further details. I had Polish bred horses with International passports so never had any problems...

I also have a polish passport, and have been advised much the same thing, I called a copy of Passport places who have suggested checking for a section in the passport and not to input my own details but to place a sheet in with my details and dates that i have done. I cant remember the section it has to have input but if you contact the BSJA or similar passport legal places they are able to advise you, aparently (sp) this is ery common with Polish Passports.
Please feel free to PM me if i can help any further,

I have a horse with a latvian passport and i asked the passport agency about it and they said i needed to have a british one, but then someone at my yard told me that the passport i have is a legal document and can be used pretty much the same as a british one and there is no need to change it?
therefore, since i am eventing her this year, i have given her passport details to BE and if they say it should now be british thats when i'll change it..

thanks for the tip , I will try to call some more people , may get back to you later to find out about which page you mean
