Im schooling to sell a PWB who seems very nice. He has a lovely nature and he is keen to learn, picking things up quite quickly. Anyway i have to do an ad to sell him. I dont know what they are like as a breed what are they used for as im not really going to have time to find out but he is a ig horse good weight carrier and will be fab when he has put weight on. Nice paces but no nothing about jump,do they? are there any known competiton ones

I need to put an ad together soon but need t know who normally buys these horses??

Help if you can
Thanks in advance

I don't know about the breed. We have one with us at present. Came as a dangerous horse capable of killing someone

We didn't know that when she first came

Anyway she has turned out a lovely horse. She would make a fab eventer. She loves showjumping and looks for the next fence.
She is going home soon. I have gone from wanting it to go back as soon as possible to will miss her. We have another looney from the same home. American paint/quarterhorse. I think people se them comeing

i used to have a livery that bought one. she paid £4k for her as a 3yo just backed. nice looking horse and definately a weight carrier. she never jumped her only schooled her. TBH she was my worst horse on livery she would break all the fencing every day and kicked the stable door whenever she was in. was bargy although the owner was quite strict with her. had to be sedated for farrier, as i had never come across a PWB before i am not sure what they are like. this one was also very clumsy and always losing shoes.

mmmmmm He wouldnt do that infact he lived in at the previous yard. He seems very quiet. He is big though could be a mans horse easily. Wonder if they hunt?? I want to sell him before its hunting season though

not sure the owner literally schooled and hacked. i found out that afterwards that she had been asked to leave her last yard because of the field issues. when she came to me her legs were very badly cut where she had gone through fencing. this horse was the final straw and why we gave up the livery yard. on the saturday we put £300 of new wooden fencing up within 1hour on the sunday she had demolished it.

she also broke over 40 heavy duty electric posts. only had her on yard for 6 weeks

Sozenka was a nightmare with fenceing. She cut her legs jumping/going through fenceing. I was mortified as she came for behavioural issues not get injured. Now she is in the herd she is perfect.
She has fantastic paces. She would make a fantastic eventer but don't know about the breed as a whole. People knew her before she came to us and when they saw her at a show they couldn't believe it was the same horse.
She is slow to learn and lacks confidence until she is sure about something and then their is no stopping her.
She loves jumping and she would make a good hunter.

Polish warmbloods can be completely different depending on what they are a mix of etc etc, same as any warmblood. We have one which sounds very similar to yours, 16.2hh black gelding, quite alot of bone. THE sweetest nature, fab to hack, dead chilled, nice scopey jump. We also have a 4yr iold who is lighter in build (predominantly SF breeding) sharper and seriously talented, but certainly not a complete amateurs horse. Sweet nature, but just a bit sharp under saddle.

There are 2 types, Wiekepolska and Malkepolska, you have to forgive my spelling as it's off the top of my head.

Centyfor is one, and Centyfield have several there, they are like any other, good ones, bad ones and in betweens.

I currently have four Polish Warmbloods, all very different but all very trainable, lovely paces and good jumpers. The bigger ones tend to be a bit slow to develop - like most big warmbloods and I've got one smaller one that's a bit bolshy but certainly no worse than any other warmblood. As for potential - I suppose it depends on the breeding - I've got one by Contender, one by Landos, one by De Niro and one by Argentinius. All are quality horses but like all breeds careless breeding can let the side down.

I used Centyfor because of his wonderful temperament. Happy to have total strangers wandering in his stable for a pat. My filly by him has been a doll to handle.
