POLITE range update from v bandz

Yes indeed, its all in the wording. However

"We are currently looking at ways we can help you. As a good will gesture so that you do not have to purchase brand new items again- we are looking at swapping our “PLEASE” waistcoats and amending equine products for you and will publish a detailed guidance on this during the week."

This could be extremely costly (although good public relations) for them, lets hope they do something, it will make the other company look rather silly, perhaps they will follow suit.

well done V bandz,
Also they're the only ones doing high viz ear bonnets which get me way more comments in the positive than any other high-viz item :D

Good for vbandz! Unfortunately I have bought a lot of stuff from the other company and all I've got from them is an email. Not very helpful.

Now that's what I would have expected from a company that takes its customers into consideration - unlike the other company who seems to be encouraging people to wear it and risk the consequences. Well done V-bandz.

As a marketeer that is exactly the way I would have chosen to approach this situation - obviously it will be costly in the short term, but the brand reputuation stands way above the competition now. Plus they used a perfect selling opportunity at the bottom of the page to advertise other alternative items - good move.

Hi viz doesn't last forever anyway, particularly the polite range, its loses its visibility over time so unless someone is unlucky enough to have bought their stuff fairly recently, it'll need replacing and a simple hi viz tabard can be bought for a fraction of the price.

I have to say most of my hi-viz is from V-bandz. I still use my tabard that I bought from them when HOYS was at Wembley and some of the leg bands I have are nearly as old but still look good. Customer service has always been excellent too.

Costly in the short run but long run they've just got themselves some very, very good advertising out of it...

This will certainly stick in my mind as a company I'd buy from in the future. The other company I wouldn't touch.

I've not bought from either previously.

I have to say I've been happy to keep out of this controversy, I do have and wear chequered hi-vis, just wish I'd brought it from this company....

Now that is how to address customers.

This, nice one v-bandz!
Unlike certain other horsey hi viz companies, I've only ever had pleasant experiences with v bandz and have always been impressed by their customer service. I stay well away from "the other one" now - especially after my yhl experience, but that's getting off topic! x
