Technically all year round turnout but they're kept in if it's wet - YO decision
SJ are mine and instructors as we brought them to the new yard with us
Automatic drinkers in stables but not fields
We have 2 large field to ride (just me and one other livery as it's a secret)
None of the above I have selected in your poll.
What I have selected is:
Electricity
Stable
Outdoor School
All Year Round Turnout - we each have our own field and can do with it as we please. Mine goes out every day as it gets rested every 10 weeks for a month when I go home from uni.
Electricity
Stables (indoor, same building as indoor school)
Outdoor school
Indoor school
Show Jumps - they were pretty rubbish but new owners have just moved in and ordered a new set
Horse walker - not a smart one, it was hand made and has seen better days
Automatic troughs in fields, each stable has a tap inside with short length of hose
Is this poll working properly? If only 15% of people have a stable then 85% must have all year turnout otherwise where are they keeping their horse - in the house maybe?
its not 15% of people have a stable its 15% of the total poll have stables. not sure how to explain it properly but its not a 100% per item on list its 100% split between all options
Hard to explain... but basically the percentages thing is only useful if its a poll where you pick one option.... as you can pick many options the percentages don't make sense... if you see what i mean
We have all year round turnout, electricity, stables, outdoor school, showjumps and automatic troughs in most of the fields but not in the stables. We do have a lot of cross country jumps, but most of them are built into the fences seperating the fields so you can't use them unless all the horses are removed first. We have cross-country days in summer where we can use them though, so I ticked it. The reason we have so many facilities is that the yard's main function is as a riding school - the liveries are a sideline, if you will.
Year round turn out
Stables
Outdoor School
Indoor School
Horse Walker
Automatic troughs/feeders in fields & stables
Showjumps
Off road hacking
Electricity
The other one has:
Year round turnout (but it's not great)
Stables
Electricity but only off a generator
Everything except walker, automatic waterer & off road hacking (but not a million miles away from somerford/smallwood/kelsall/delamere anyway)
Although technically there is a XC course, its not really used now as taking down all the electric fencing is a pain!
But 2 indoors, 2 outdoors, full set of showjumps up for hire at all times, and always jumps to use for free in the outdoor is all good

Exactly the same for me, the yard is about 30 horses strong.
Though I am leaving in under 2weeks now as I need some where cheaper to save some money as my mare seems to be semi retired these days due to her foot
Its a great yard, but needs must. One issue I would say is the fact I have to break my back and neck each day lugging alot of water out to containers to the field which is a long way away, I don't have a great neck and back as it is.
New place has one lady with her two horses, stable currently being built, electricity to be hooked up to replace the generator they did have. All year turn out, mains water, off road hacking on the doorstep. The only thing I will really miss will be the toilet and having hay direct off YO. But new place is just lovely, really looking forward to going there now
All round turnout
Electricity
Stables
Outdoor School
Indoor School
Show Jumps
We have a few Cross Country jumps in the fields
Automatic Water troughs in the fields, buckets in the stables
Off road hacking
I've got
All year round turnout
Electricity
Outdoor School
Showjumps (a really good set!)
XC course is being built this winter and we've had our first jump made!
Not automatic drinkers but our tap is close enough to the stables so that it might as well be and our farmer fills up our water troughs for us.
Loads of off road hacking!
