OK, I am currently trying to sell a pony. He's been advertised on Horsemart with no joy and is up in tack shops and on all the free sites. He needs a new home asap so we are looking to advertise for maximum 'bang for bucks!!'. Advert already tweaked and general consensus is that the price is good so now need to get him a new owner. He's a PC/jumping type. Your experiences and recommendations are welcomed. So, where do you think he will get most interest?

Pony club website.
Your local pony club and riding club branches may also have a classifieds section on their own website?
Preloved.
Have you got any ads up at local riding schools?

^ Agreed - pony club website would probably be very popular too.
Also worth trying equine adverts, not a huge site but I had a massive response to my wanted ad so it must have a lot of visitors - think it's only about £2.99 to advertise on there so might be worth a go?
Have you tried local horsey facebook pages?

I personally didn't like searching on horse deals.

I have been putting the link to the ad on horsey Facebook pages. We tweaked the ad last week after some good HHO feedback but I guess a lot of the visitors to the site may be 'repeat' so probably too late!

I have tried over the past couple of months, H&H had a good response, Horsequest-good response, Horsedeals- bit of response and have just put him on the PC website.
My trouble is not with the lack of response, we haven't actually had anyone come and try him as it seems we are too far away.
