I have had a lot of trouble with my horse and the rapeseed fields. He's ok grazing in his field but as soon as I start working him or hacking him, he twitches really badly.
I've tried Prednisolone, nose nets, nasal sprays (basically exerything expensive) and the best thing I have found so far is to smear Vaseline as far inside his nostrils as I can and go up as far as I can reach.
It seems to trap the pollen so it can't get up his nose and irritate him.
Much cheaper and works better than the drugs
