Pollen already?

Has anyone else's horse been affected by the pollen yet?

I thought it was too early, but yesterday he was shaking his head skightly like he does in summer. Pretty sure that something was bugging him and he wasn't just trying it on!

Last year he had tesco hayfever tablets which helped slightly. What does everyone else use?

Well I sure have, been sneezing all weekend so far, nex doors cherry blossom is out!!

I've been sneezing for a couple of weeks, so I'd say yes!

I've been sneezing for last 2/3 weeks!

The first week I thought stupidly it was the start of a cold what with a runny nose and eyes!

Doh!

Normally take all my hay fever stuff from end of Jan to November.

But this year I held off due to the snow!

Dopey me! Now paying for it!

Pollen starts in Febuary normally.

Now the blue bells in the local woods are up but not blooming.

Nature carries on relentless!!!

Judging on how bad I am with all my meds it is going to be a bad year with everything all at once!

Mine was getting a bit twitchy about a month ago then it went really cold again & it's stopped(for now...) I use nose net & ear cover but will be doing some experimenting this year with full face mask & may try antihistamines.

mmm wishful thinking perhaps....no pollen yet as far too cold I am afraid
