im trying to find a wooden practise polo horse for my wife for christmas. does anyone know where i can purchase one from?
 
I think most people make their own. You can find instructions online - try googling it.

Alternatively, if you're not too good with a hammer and nails

you could try contacting polo schools local to you, to see if they'd be interested in selling off one of theirs.

thankyou for your reply, but im not too good with diy,,,i did see a nice one at a polo match once, but could nt find out who had made it,but thanks anyway..
 
Could you find a carpenter and give them the instructions and a picture of what you want?

Or, if you'd like to send me a PM to let me know what area you're in (county), I could let you know which polo schools are in your area - they might be able to tell you who made theirs.
 
hi, thought of that, but i dont know any carpenters.thought i would just be able to buy one, but ive looked all over the net, and nothing seems to be on there, or not in the uk at least. thanks again.
 
hi chud,i had the same problem when i started playing polo, but my club had a nice one and i got given the guys number who had made it. he made me and a friend one each. i can pm his number if you would like to chat to him..im in east yorkshire.
 
hi zak, if you could pm his number to me it would be a great help.do you hav a picture you could send me as well, because i dont want i diy job horse, i know roughly wat im looking for, as ive seen a nice one already at a polo match .
