hi does anyone on here do polocrosse.

My son has been interested now for a while and has just started training with a team and also trains with his pony club. Myself and my non riding hubby have now also got the bug. It is so addictive and the community surrounding it are so friendly

I've been to a few taster sessions but at the last one my boy wasn't enjoying himself so we are not planning on doing it much.

It is great fun I love it and as you say the people involved in it are lovely :)

Yep I am just getting back into it and its great fun

Compared to BSJA I've forgotten how much real gratuitous fun you can have!!

Koko - don't give up, you need to get a stick and ball and practise. Alternatively send yours away for training?

Tried it for the first time during the summer on work experience at a polocrosse yard!! Normally v much an eventing girl but LOVED polocrosse, so much fun!! Want to keep doing it but don't think my rising 4 year old would appreciate it. lol!!

I do! On my gypsy cob, so not typical!

Same :D gypsy loves it a bit too much and tries to eat the ball, being the cob he is!! We did it for ages last year, I kept falling off trying to jump over and catch the ball, forgetting the pony's supposed to stay under me :p we havnt been for a while now as were consentrating on show jumping.
But I would deffo recommend it :D
