Right, birthday is coming up and might ask for new boots! But I have:
Mark Todd winter long riding boots - lovely and furry lining but probs going to be too warm in summer
Duarrys - great for walking/hacking but not for schooling really
Ariat short boots and gaiters for comps (black) but I find the soles really thin on them and slippy.
So I was looking at either replacing my short ariat boots with something like either the Mark Todd Chetwode or Mountain Horse Richmond boots - both look to have slightly sturdier and more grippy soles, anyone got either? Any options on the MH SCS system?
Or going down the MH long boot route (but bit pricey) with their high calibre one I think it is? The more elegant one with laced front? Anyone got these? Look ok for dressage/showing or still too 'clumpy'?
Or could go with the brown short boots and gaiters and use for both every day riding in summer and dressage/SJ/XC - kep my black ones for showing!
Arrrrhggghh what to do?!?
