I noticed my ponies joints click occasionaly expessialy in his back feet, hes 14 years but does quite alot of work just wondered wether there was any supplements ect which can help this? Thanks
There was a discussion on here about clicky joints not so long ago ... and I believe the general consensus was that it was like our knuckles and fingers clicking - gas in the joints.
I dont think there is any sort of supplement you can use, as it's just something that happens.
Happy to be proven wrong by another poster though!

Hi new to forum my girl has clicky back joints asked vet about it they said not to worry quite common just like us with clicky joints some do some don't x
Try global herbs tenoneaze and/or windgall (I have my boy on both so not sure which has made the difference!). He had very clicky ankles, esp on left rein, now after 2 or 3 months on both supplements I hardly hear any clicking and his 'cankle' has reduced in size!
When humans joints click it is normal and so long as it isn't causing a problem then there is nothing to worry about! So i guess horses will be something similar?
If you think it is joints there is always the joint suppliments such as cortaflex, superflex etc etc that they can have!
